Idle Goat Farmer is an idle farm game somewhere between a livestock simulation and a management sim: you adopt goats, they produce milk, and — this is the point — they keep going when you close the app. You go to work, you sleep, you forget the game for two days: the farm has been running without you, and there is always something waiting when you come back.

Then it escalates, quietly. You adopt a second goat. You build a dairy, because selling raw milk when you could be selling cheese is frankly a waste. You hire a shepherd. And one evening you catch yourself working out whether a 500-billion vat will pay for itself before your next Transhumance.

45 GOATS, FROM THE PEN TO THE MILKY WAY

They are spread across 14 trails. The first ones graze behind the farm; the last ones drift somewhere between the stars and the legends. Each produces her own milk, at her own pace. Upgrade her milking, your herders' speed and the size of their churns — milk does not walk itself home, and a goat producing faster than you can collect is a goat producing nothing.

64 resources, 44 recipes to unlock. The Dairy refines your milk, the Workshop works your cheese, and every step up the chain multiplies what it sells for. Nine vats, eight benches: you decide what runs and what waits its turn.

SHEPHERDS, AND A FAIR AMOUNT OF LUCK

Six rarities, from Common to Divine. Candidates refresh regularly, their talents vary, and landing a Mythic genuinely changes a run. Assign them to one specific goat, or let the best ones lift the whole farm.

New facilities, production bonuses, entire mechanics opening up. The Evolution tree is not a list of +10% — some branches change how you play outright. And once your herd starts looking respectable, the farm contests are there to prove it.

THEN YOU SELL EVERYTHING: THE TRANSHUMANCE

The farm, the goats, the stock. In exchange: Black Milk, a currency that carries across runs, to invest in the 15 rooms of the ancestral farm. You start over from nothing, far stronger, and what once took you days now takes a fraction of that. This is where the game really begins.

No wifi needed, no account needed: the simulation keeps running offline with the app closed, and your earnings are waiting when you return. A full statistics screen, for those who like watching the numbers as much as the goats. 19 languages. An exportable save code, any time, to move to a new phone. And strictly optional ads: they double a reward or boost production if you decide so, never because you are made to.
